Bright Pattern – that is Pulp Rock from Augsburg, Germany. The band stylishly draws inspiration from the great rock and pop icons without losing their own unique character. They skillfully blend glam rock, folk sounds, garage and rock ’n‘ roll with timeless melodies, citing artists such as David Bowie, Oasis, The Clash, The Beatles, The Jam, The Rolling Stones, Pink Floyd and the underground heroes Misfits and Velvet Underground, as well as indie acts of the early 2000s. Their sound is authentic, diverse, and yet clear in its message, always calling for understanding and unity.

The band’s frontman, singer, guitarist, and main songwriter is Lukas Dingelmaier, who performs with great passion and authenticity on stage. After a personal crisis that led him to music, he dedicated his life to art. He completed his high school diploma, studied English to make his song lyrics even more expressive, and founded the band with Peer Schmidt in 2019. Peer, an accomplished drummer and percussionist, returned in 2023 after a break to further develop Bright Pattern’s sound together with Lukas.

In the spring of 2025, Bright Pattern was joined by the talented bassist Viktor Dingelmaier, Lukas’s brother. Together, the three Augsburg natives create a soundscape that takes the audience on a musical journey through space and time. With their passion, stage presence and a constantly growing repertoire of original songs, they make their mark and captivate fans across Germany.
